Saturday 15th December – Saturday 22nd December

10am – 4pm & 5pm – 8pm Saturdays and Sundays
10am – 4pm & 6pm – 8pm Mondays to Fridays

We are inviting expressions of interest from exhibitors and traders who would like to be a part of our newest and most exciting event to date – Lincoln Castle's Christmas Emporium.
We are incredibly excited to announce a brand new Christmas event at Lincoln Castle. Set against the backdrop of the castle's medieval walls, this event brings together a truly unique offer that will delight and entertain visitors of all ages.

The Christmas Emporium
The Christmas Emporium event will run for eight consecutive days and nights within the medieval walls of Lincoln Castle. The Emporium will combine high quality merchandise, unique hospitality and in the evenings, an eye catching light and sound show. The Christmas Emporium will be a treat for all ages and create memories for years to come. Access to the Christmas Emporium will be free to enter during the day. The evening light show event will be ticketed and charged (Lincoln Castle Annual Pass holders will have free entry). The light projection will last approximate 10 minutes and will be repeated every 30 minutes throughout each evening.

Daytime
Our daytime Christmas Emporium offer will see approximately 40 hand selected exhibitors, traders and makers offering high quality, unique crafts, gifts and festive food. A tipi bar will provide the hygge with log fires, fairy lights, mulled wine, hot chocolate and a variety of tasty treats. This event provides the perfect opportunity to meet friends and family, and soak up the festive atmosphere.

Evening
Our evening Christmas Emporium will see those same traders as the daytime offer now with the buildings and walls of the Castle floodlit creating a special and festive atmosphere. Evening visitors can also explore the newly restored Medieval Wall Walk. The highlight of each evening will be a light projection short show repeated throughout each evening. The light show will be an extraordinary Victorian inspired projection and soundtrack reflecting times past and present. This illuminated light show will transform the castle grounds, bringing a sprinkling of festive magic to this brand new Christmas experience that is not to be missed.
This inaugural event is a festive celebration of arts, crafts and food, as well as a creative showcase of the most imaginative and skilled artists and designer-makers. We want to attract the very best and in recognition of this we will be offering chalets at a discounted introductory fee of £1000 inc VAT. We are looking for traders who want to join us on this journey of establishing and building a Christmas Emporium that people will enjoy for many years to come.
