Taking Lincoln Castle to a time that never was - the largest Steampunk festival in the world returns to Lincoln! 

The Asylum Steampunk Festival is the largest and longest running Steampunk festival in the world, attracting participants from around the globe for a weekend full of art, literature, music, fashion and simple good fun!  This will be the fifteenth year the event has run, and we expect it to be a very special occasion indeed.

The festival is run by the Ministry of Steampunk and the Castle is delighted to host part of this much-loved event. With your Castle Day ticket, you can access the grounds, the Victorian Prison, and the awe-inspiring Medieval Wall Walk providing the perfect backdrops for showcasing your standout 2025 outfit. 

There are many more exclusive activities and features to enjoy for attendees who purchase wristbands directly from the organisers. These include some parts of the castle not open to those with a castle admission ticket (the marquees and Heritage Centre) as well as several other surrounding venues.
